Changes due to Covid-19

Dear guests!

The Covid-19 measures are currently changing daily, but we would like to briefly summarize some of the most important points for you.

Necessary information for our guests:

  • Since December 20, 2021, a 2G + proof (vaccinated or recovered + PCR test) has to be presented to enter Austria.
Exceptions are people with a third stitch (booster) and children under 12 years of age.
  • From December 25, 2021, the entry rules for Great Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway will be tightened (will be declared virus variant areas). This does not apply to people with a third stitch (booster) who also have to show a PCR test upon entry. The regulations for children (from 12 until 15 years) are not tightened and are handled according to the rules of the “Holiday-Ninja-Pass”.
  • Bookings for Winter 2021/22 can be canceled for free until 7 days before arrival.
  • Since November 8, 2021, the 2G rule from 12 years of age (vaccinated / recovered) has been in force in Austria. Exception: the 3G rule remains in place at work.
  • Evidence of a low epidemiological risk (G-rules) according to the 2-G rule as an entry requirement for hotels, restaurants / night-time catering, body-hugging service providers, indoor leisure facilities (theaters, cinemas, concert halls) and events as well as gatherings of 25 people or more. The obligation to submit proof does not apply to children up to the age of 12.
  • It is necessary to bring valid proof with you upon arrival!
  • FFP2 masks is mandatory indoor. Does not apply to children up to the age of six, children from the age of six to the age of 14 may wear mouth and nose protection.
  • Obligation to register in the catering industry

According to the current status (November 17, 2021), the vaccines are only valid for certain periods of time, after which the “Green Pass” expires:

  • From December 6, 2021, the validity of vaccination certificates will be reduced to 270 days.
  • From January 3rd, 2022, the vaccination certificate for a single Janssen/Johnson and Johnson vaccination is no longer valid.

The current information on the validity of the “Green Pass” can be found here in detail.

Changes are of course possible at any time!

Please contact us at any time if you have any questions, requests or concerns about your bookings.

Important: Find out about the current entry requirements shortly before your arrival!

Take care of yourself and those around you!

Hopefully see you soon at the Glockenstuhl.
